The most interesting story about this piece concerns the green/gray design in the red triangle in the lower left corner. It would appear to be the same color as the green/gray of the tile in the right foreground. It is an optical illusion. Actually it is significantly darker. The surrounding red absorbed the green making it appear white, so I made the design a much darker green to compensate.
